Preferred Hunter Program

Friends of Etowah Valley-

    We are happy to be looking ahead to the fall and our ninth Hunting Season. This summer has been a scorcher and I for one will be pleased to have any temperature colder than 50 degrees.

     The Preferred Hunter Program is a program tailored around Hunters with their own Dogs or a Self Guided Hunt; but it can be adjusted for those hunters who want to save on Guided Hunts. The cost of the Program this season is $675.00 plus tax for six hunts; that is a savings of $165.00. This offer expires on September 20th, 2010.

     Alex has been hard at work with the growing of the birds and the grooming and planting of the fields. He has planted some 80 acres of sorghum to blend with the natural cover. We had a bit of a brier problem last season and we will bring it under control this year with a new herbicide with the unlikely name of Remedy. The new fields also had a nutritional challenge and that problem has been solved. The rain has hit just right and all the fields will make for some great hunting. This Season we have the following fields for your hunting pleasure: Colorado, North Dakota, South Dakota, Kansas, Pennsylvania, Michigan, and the possibility of a woodland field on over 600 acres.
